The linocuts are linked to specific projects of our studio and to references that hold particular significance. They are produced as a limited edition. The original cut serves as an archetype – pattern or template – while the prints represent the actual artwork.

BEETLE
Inspired by "After a blackboard drawing" by Wilhelm Schubert, May 5, 1914 (ink on paper).

JOLLY
The design was created in 2021 by Johanna Schuberth, modeled on cardboard – the centerpiece is the ice cream bar that has been popular in Austria for decades. Later, the image was transferred to a linocut print. The animation "The New Jolly" is available in the film section.

DICE
The linocut was created based on an object from the exhibition design for the Theatermuseum Wien 2022 entitled: »Revered … Desired …«, which dealt with theater culture and the passion for collecting.
